Will a root canal hurt?
Modern anesthesia and techniques make root canal treatment comfortable. Most patients feel relief soon after infection is treated.
Do I need a crown after a root canal?
Back teeth usually need a protective crown to prevent fracture. We coordinate with your general dentist for this step.
Why would I need retreatment or surgery?
Some teeth have complex anatomy or persistent infection. Retreatment or apicoectomy addresses the source so the tooth can heal.
Is 3D CBCT imaging safe?
We follow ALARA principles and use low-dose protocols only when imaging will meaningfully improve diagnosis or outcomes.
