Before Your First Visit

Simple prep so your visit is smooth and efficient.

Digital Forms

Complete your health history and consent forms online from your phone or computer before arriving.

Insurance & Costs

We verify benefits and provide an estimate in advance. You’ll receive a written treatment plan at your visit.

What to Bring

Photo ID, insurance card, referral (if given), and current medication list. Recent x-rays are helpful but not required.

Minors & Guardians

A parent or legal guardian must attend to provide consent. Proxy/tele-consent available when arranged in advance.

Day-Of: Step by Step

Here’s exactly what typically happens at the appointment.

1) Check-In

We confirm your information and answer questions. If needed, we’ll finalize x-ray/CBCT orders.

2) Diagnostics

Targeted exams, tests, and imaging. We follow ALARA principles to minimize exposure.

3) Options & Plan

Your specialist reviews findings and discusses choices, costs, and timing. You decide what feels right.

4) Treatment

Many procedures can be started the same day. For sedation, we’ll schedule and review instructions together.

Sedation Options

Comfortable care for every age and need. Your specialist will help you choose the safest, simplest option.

Local Anesthesia

Very effective numbing for most care. You’re fully awake and can drive yourself to and from the visit.

Nitrous Oxide (“Laughing Gas”)

Gentle relaxation that wears off quickly. Most patients can return to normal activities soon after.

Oral Sedation

Prescription medication taken before the visit. You’ll need an adult escort and must not drive that day.

IV Sedation

Administered and monitored by qualified providers for deeper relaxation. Escort required; detailed instructions provided.

Safety note: Tell us about all medications, supplements, and medical conditions. We’ll tailor a plan and provide written pre- and post-sedation instructions.

After-Care Instructions & PDFs

Printed copies are available at your visit. Download digital versions anytime.
