Dr. Tony Li is an experienced oral and maxillofacial surgeon with extensive training in both dentistry and medicine. His background in advanced surgical procedures, combined with his commitment to patient-centered care, allows him to provide patients with comprehensive oral surgery treatment.

Originally from Belmont, California, Dr. Li earned his undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, before receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in 2008.

He went on to complete a rigorous six-year combined Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency and Medical Degree program at the University of Pittsburgh, earning his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 2012 and completing his surgical residency in 2014. He further advanced his surgical training through a fellowship in Cranio-Maxillofacial Trauma at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland, Oregon, in 2015.

Since returning to Southern California, Dr. Li has gained broad clinical experience in private practice, multispecialty dental organizations, and as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon with Kaiser Permanente.

Dr. Li believes that exceptional surgical care begins with understanding each patient’s individual needs. He is dedicated to providing safe, precise, and compassionate treatment while helping patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident throughout their care.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Li enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and exploring new subjects and interests.
